Our History

Army of 1 City Church was founded in 2013 by Maurice Bellamy in West Palm Beach, Florida, starting as a small prayer group of three high school students. Within a month, their passion for God drew over 100 young people together daily to seek Him.
In 2014, Maurice married Ciara Bellamy, who joined him in leading and expanding the ministry.
In 2017, Army of 1 moved to Macon, Georgia, where it continues to inspire youth and young adults while also strengthening young married couples and families. The church teaches the God-given roles in the home: the Father/Husband as protector and provider, the Mother/Wife as a supportive and nurturing partner who follows her husband as he follows Christ, and children who honor and respect their parents.
Today, Army of 1 bridges the gap between Millennials and Gen Z, building a multigenerational community of faith, prayer, and growth. From its humble beginnings to a thriving church, Army of 1 City Church equips the next generation to live boldly in their faith, build strong families, and embrace their God-given purpose.
